Interview with Sapphire Rose

Can you tell us more about your journey from Swansea, Wales, to representing the United Kingdom in the Miss Elegance of the World pageant?

My journey has been full of emotions and personal growth, constantly pushing myself towards my goals. Whilst maintaining the balance of helping others in my local area,  I enjoy being a positive role model and encouraging others to do the same.

Congratulations on winning the mini supreme and grand supreme titles in two online USA pageants! How did these victories impact your career and personal growth?

I always remain humble and I know that this is important in my personal growth,  I enjoy seeing progress in my achievements.

As a model and featuring as a cover model in numerous magazines is a remarkable achievement. Can you share some of your favorite moments or experiences from your modeling career?

My favourite moment was my first front cover on GMARO magazine,  to be published in Paris in a high end fashion magazine was an achievement that has triggered a response from other magazines , which has helped my modelling career massively

Being featured on a Times Square New York billboard is a dream for many models. Can you describe the emotions you felt when you saw your images displayed in such a prominent location?

I felt like joy and I knew that all of my hard work was paying off

Balancing motherhood and pursuing dreams can be challenging. How do you manage to juggle your responsibilities while actively participating in pageants and modeling?

It isn’t easy and no day is the same,  my son is my ultimate driving force because I want him to have a good role model so he grows up seeing me achieving my dreams I want it to have a positive effect on how it shapes him as a person so he can go on to achieve his own personal dreams in life!

Your pageant platform focuses on helping and encouraging other moms to pursue their dreams. What inspired you to choose this platform, and how do you go about supporting other moms in their endeavors?

After having my son and adapting to motherhood I understand the difficulties that could arise when perusing dreams with being a mum too, after having some rejection in certain things when becoming a mum it lite a fire inside of me, where I wanted to no only achieve my dreams but also help other mums to achieve theirs.  I often speak to other mothers and through conversations I have been able to help them too! And by also pointing them in the right avenues!

What advice do you have for other moms who may be facing rejections or challenges in pursuing their dreams? How did you overcome obstacles to reach where you are today?

I know how tough it is and it can be draining mentally especially the rejection,  the advice is to keep trying and not give up.  Move on to the next goal and keep working until you get your yes! Rejection is just redirection!

I overcame obstacles by using my mental strength, I dig deep and focus on the positives, if something isn’t working for me I try something else.  I don’t fear failure I fear never trying and not knowing the outcome have I had tried!

Being a representative of Wales in international pageants, how do you showcase the uniqueness and beauty of your hometown on a global stage?

I will wear a costume that showcases wales in that round 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

As a role model, what message do you hope to convey to young women and aspiring models who look up to you?

The main message I want to convey is to be humble and to live from the heart, stay true to yourself and help as many people as possible

Can you share some upcoming projects or goals you have in both your pageant and modeling career? What can we expect to see from Sapphire Rose in the near future?

My book poetry in the ocean and the heart in slow motion is being published this year, it’s something I’ve been working on for a while with a publisher!  I will continue to spread awareness of miss elegance of the world  in my local area and helping charities too.
